Getting started with Affilitrak is simple and straightforward. As a Shopify app, Affilitrak integrates seamlessly with your existing store without any technical setup required. All you need to have is a basic Shopify plan or higher, access to your Shopify store and your store must also be an active one.

Installation Process

Installing Affilitrak on your Shopify store should take you just a few minutes. Follow these steps to install the app in your Shopify store:

Step 1: Navigating to the app:

• - Visit the Shopify App Store at apps.shopify.com.
• - Search for "Affilitrak" in the search bar.
• - Click on the Affilitrak app from the search results.
• - You can also click on this to take you directly to the app.
• - Review the app details, pricing, and customer reviews.

Step 2: Install the App

• - Click the "Add app" button on the Affilitrak app page.
• - You'll be redirected to your Shopify admin.
• - Review the permissions that Affilitrak requests.
• - Click "Install app" to confirm the installation.

Step 3: Complete Initial Setup

After installation, open Affilitrak in Shopify admin. Your Home dashboard shows a Setup Guide card that walks through program setup, coupons, your first affiliate, and a test purchase. Use the Quick start guide and the In-app setup guide for the full walkthrough.

Common Questions

1. How long does installation take?; The installation process typically takes just a few minutes, with initial setup completed in under 15 minutes.

2. Will this affect my store's performance?; No, Affilitrak is optimized for Shopify and won't impact your store's loading speed.

3. Can I customize the affiliate portal?; Affiliates use the Affilitrak portal by default. In Settings → Business Identity you can set brand name, support email, and related details used in communications. Full white-label portal branding and custom domains are not part of the free default experience — see Settings.

4. Do I need technical knowledge to install?; No. You don't need any technical knowledge to install or use the app. The installation is handled entirely through the Shopify App Store and the onboarding process as well as user interface has been made to be very user friendly especially for non-technical users.
